Proposal Manager

Objective: Co-ordinate Granite East's overall proposal preparation including Statement of Qualifications, Pre-Qualifications, Proposals, and Award Submissions. Further develop and formalize Granite East's Proposal Process. Assist in writing and developing proposal submittals. Maintain past project databases, physical and electronic proposal archives.  Provide training to other Granite East Personnel

Essential Functions: Oversee, coordinate & assist in the preparation of proposals by Granite East using internal & external resources. Coordinate the development  of  proposals with Joint Venture Partners, Designers and others as required.   Edit and assisting in the writing of key proposal sections  Develop & maintain  the overall proposal  process Maintain archives, past project database & current resume database. Train Granite East Personnel in Proposal Preparation. Participate in client debriefings on Proposals  Maintain the Granite Intranet. Travel could be 60%.

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree or comparable work experience. Required Experience: 10 years prior professional experience in technical writing & proposal preparation highly preferred. Any prior Construction experience/background helpful.  Required Skills & Knowledge: Ability to co-ordinate and manage personnel who are not direct reports.  Superior Technical writing skills (demonstrated through prior work experience).  Highly organized, in order to respond to deadlines most efficiently. Ability to multi-task with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Accuracy Works well independently or in a team environment. Mentors others. Ability to respond quickly and effectively under pressure and deadlines.
