Promotions & Event Regional Manager - Los Angeles Nightlife

National Event Marketing Agency seeking a full time Regional Manager in the Los Angeles area to manage a nightlife event marketing program for a Fortune 500 client.   Position Scope/Overview

 Regional Manager (RM) is responsible for all program implementation and execution at the market level. The Regional Manager is also responsible for all program goals and objectives while adhering to all procedures as set forth in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) manual for all markets within assigned region.  (3-4 markets total)

 

 

Core Responsibilities:

· Oversee daily operations of markets for a national nightlife based event marketing program

· Travel to markets on an on-going basis and troubleshoot as needed

· Complete all program projects and directives as assigned by client and/or management

· Ensure market strategies and client goals are being met by market staff

· Review, guide, critique, and maintain focus of overall market performance

· Thorough knowledge of market and its nightlife characteristics (“the scene”)

·Recruit, train and supervise all full time market staff

·Counsel market management in resolving performance problems

· Guide market staff in all recruiting, hiring, and performance management of part-time staff/agents

· Ensure all Agents are properly trained and evaluated

· Direct market managers in all aspects of field marketing activity

· Ensure all management and Rep field activity is in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

· Assist market staff with development and execution of all events

· Manage relationship with local sales management team to ensure consistent communication and market development

 

 

Position Requirements:

· Bachelors degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or equivalent experience

· 3-5 years experience in operations management or management of a field/event marketing program

· 4+ years experience managing employees (remote management skills a plus)

·Experience with budget management

·Previous experience working in the adult beverage or entertainment industry a plus

·Strong business savvy and professionalism

·Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation, negotiation, persuasion and interpersonal

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and resources effectively

·Computer literate with knowledge of Word and Excel

·Attitude/Productivity: Shows high level of enthusiasm and motivation; demonstrates professional and courteous behavior; goes the extra mile

 

*This position is based out of the Los Angeles area.
