 Description 

As a fast-paced internet-based business YELLOWPAGES.COM develops and delivers great products rapidly with flawless execution. We’re looking to add a strong, process-driven project manager to our Performance Management team, which is part of Business Operations at YPC.   This project manager plays the lead role in managing the day-to-day interrelation and process management function bringing new products, functionality or systems to market.  This manager interprets, applies, and follows a corporate process to drive an interdisciplinary team to assure timely and effective development and rollout of a new product ensuring necessary gating measures are identified and managed-to.  This manager will interact with Executive Leadership Team members to obtain final “go votes” for project launches.  The vast majority of YPC products involve software-based web functionality that serves both end-users as well as the businesses behind the information we deliver to those users.

 Requirements  Minimum of 5 years experience in a structured project management role in a web-based software/systems engineering and/or IT/network infrastructure environment.  Direct experience or interface with Product Development, Product Management, and internal infrastructure departments including IT, Sales, Sales Support and Customer Care. Exceptional communication skills focused on the ability to educate, coordinate and lead an interdisciplinary team through projects of short and long duration. Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering presentations to kickoff, coordinate and report status on project progress. Ability to interface effectively with team members from all functional disciplines as well as senior management. Ability to develop and deliver detailed project plans using a corporate format to guide progress, decision points, reporting and structure. Demonstrated organizational skills, ability to juggle multiple projects across different departments. Ability to exercise judgment, diplomacy and cooperative demeanor while adhering to process and schedule constraints. BA/BS degree in related discipline, graduate degree and project management certifications a definite plus. Proficient with business software and tools related to the discipline (MS Office Suite, Project, Graphics and Presentation Software). Low/Occasional business travel.
