Production Specialist

 

The American College of Radiology, a professional association for radiologists seeks a highly talented Production Specialist to work in their dynamic fast-paced Marketing Communications and Public Relations department.

 

The Production Specialist will be responsible for managing all multiple print projects including membership mailings, meeting brochures and postcards, member reminder correspondence, self-mailers, and membership publications; developing and managing production schedules and recommending identified production solutions; troubleshooting potential problems at all stages of the process; negotiating price quotes from print vendors; leading bi-weekly production meetings; scheduling meetings with clients to develop timelines and clarify scope of work, and preparing reports, budget projections and recommendations as needed.

 

The Production Specialist will typically have a bachelor’s degree; at least 5 years production experience (preferably within an association); a thorough understanding of all phases of the print production process; the ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships; strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, strong verbal and written communications kills, and the ability to work with InDesign (MAC), Adobe Acrobat, and FileMaker Pro.
