Point of Sale Manager

 

Gibson Guitar Corp is looking for an individual to fill the position of POS Manager.  Position will be based at the Gibson World Headquarters in Nashville, TN.

 

Position will be a member of the Creative Services Department and will be the primary contact for advertising and media placement.  Reports directly to the Chief Creative Officer.

 

This position will work with Editorial, Website, Trade Show and Events team members to maintain brand messaging and creative consistency throughout all levels of Corporate Marketing function.

 

Requirements include:

 

· Bachelor’s degree

· At least 5+ years of experience in the field.

· Experience in Entertainment, Music, or M.I. markets a plus. 

· Marketing communications or product marketing experience

· Strong understanding of product positioning, differentiation

· Experience developing value propositions and messaging

· Global perspective and International experience will be preferred to assist with Global brand initiatives and positioning. 

· Experience developing and executing various marketing projects

· Ability to effectively communicate with senior management

· Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills

· Sales and proposal building experience

· Negotiation experience

· Proven management skills in related position is a must.

 

Must be able to manage budgets, resources and project time lines.

 

Relocation will not be offered for this position.
