Part-Time News Researcher

NYC strategic communications firm is looking for a part-time news researcher to research and read daily news items about corporate clients and write detailed and succinct summaries within a tight deadline.  News researchers follow specific instructions and guidelines for each client and must be detail oriented.  Candidates must be able to work early morning hours, starting at 5:00 am and ending sometime between 10:00 am and 12 noon.  This position includes some weekend shift rotations (as well as some holidays, as needed), during the same hours.  Candidates must be able to come into our NYC office; the monitoring cannot be done remotely.  A good understanding of current business and financial news is required.  Experience with Factiva, Bloomberg and other Internet databases is helpful, but not required.  Please send cover letter and resume to recruit@rlmnet.com
