Public Relations Account Supervisor – Cincinnati

Northlich is adding a Public Relations Account Supervisor position to our Cincinnati staff. The ideal candidate will be proficient in a variety of communication skills and can interact directly with major clients and support agency initiatives on behalf of its clients. Specific responsibilities will include managing communication projects and exhibiting a high level of technical and creative competence. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who can write exceptionally well across a broad spectrum of disciplines (news releases, media pitches, speeches, by-line articles, presentation materials, program proposals, strategy pieces, etc.). Candidate must also have strong media relations skills, be able to work on teams, and turn around projects quickly.

 

Specific Skills:Proven track record of managing large, national accountsExceptional writerAbility to think proactively for clients (bring them ideas they don’t think of on their own that support business goals)Creative thinker (knows how to make the client interesting and noteworthy to the media and other audiences)Equally adept at developing strategies and implementing them (big thinker who can also get things done)Excellent media relations skills and track record of working with national mediaSelf starter that can run with projects independentlyA quick learner who can understand and interpret complex information in a multitude of industriesDetail oriented Masterful at the art of keeping clients and internal teams abreast of deadlines, progress, obstacles, etc.Experience managing major issues that companies faceResponsible for billing and trackingMixture of B2B and B2C experience desired; experience working with corporate communications functions of both small and large (Fortune 1,000) companies a plus

 

Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years in journalism, agency or corporate PR workBachelor's degree
