Online Marketing/Sales Development Manager

The Runner’s World Media Group, the world’s largest media and marketing company in the endurance sports marketplace is looking for a Sales Development Manager to spearhead packaging of assets for runnersworld.com and runningtimes.com. The Online Sales Development Manager will be responsible for delivering focused, solutions-based integrated marketing programs. The position is based in New York City and reports to the Sales Development Director.

Responsibilities include:
• Developing detailed marketing programs and off-the-shelf ad products for prospective advertisers.
• Assessing brand market space and working with Sales/Marketing and Editorial to develop online opportunities that create distinct and sustainable value for advertisers.
• Working with the individual Sales Reps (including supporting them on client calls), and collaborating with the Marketing and Online teams to develop integrated programs and sales collateral.
• Acting as lead on all online-driven proposals, including contributing to the brainstorming and management of any print, event and other non-online program elements.
• Overseeing timely and successful execution and reporting of online programs working with Marketing and Online support teams.
• Managing expenses and cost efficiencies as related to execution of online advertising programs.

Requirements include:
• College degree.
• A minimum of two years marketing experience with online presence.
• A creative and innovative thinker.
• Resourceful and collaborative team player.
• Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail and meeting deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong proposal writing and sales collateral development skills.
• Working knowledge of interactive advertising and development technologies.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Powerpoint.
• Basic knowledge of Flash, HTML and InDesign.
• Available to travel with reps on sales calls and represent the RWMG at key events.
