On-Site Account Director
A leading shopper marketing agency with Fortune 500 consumer packaged goods and major retailer clients is seeking an On-Site Account Director to supervise, train and lead the Account Service team with our retail consumer marketing efforts. This position is located in the Camden, NJ area.
The On-Site Account Director will be responsible for developing in-depth knowledge and strong relationships with both client and retailer, working closely with cross-functional teams including category, consumer marketing, trade development, operations and merchandising.
Responsibilities:Build a strong knowledge base of client’s business within the agency Manage and strategically develop client relationshipsPartner with clients to develop overarching portfolio and brand-specific shopper marketing strategyProvide continuous communication with client and all key stakeholder groupsLead multi-disciplined teamManage agency account service effortEnsure service levels and tactics are keeping with strategic goalsMonitor and direct expansion of management relationships with clientSeek out innovative tactics/promotional partners and sponsorshipsCommunicate client requests to appropriate agency departments/individualsEstablish timing and budgetsParticipate in brand/management meetings
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing or related fieldMinimum 8 years’ experience in CPG environmentExtensive retail experienceAbility to effectively communicate ideas to senior level managementExcellent presentation skills
