ONLINE COMMUNICATIONS MARKETING MANAGER

OUR CLIENT:

 

Our client is one of the world’s leading global supply chain solutions companies, which operates on all continents with over 350 employees  worldwide and is growing approximately thirty percent each year.  Operational headquarters are in the Dallas, Texas area.

 

THE POSITION:

 

-  Is titled Marketing Manager, Online Programs and reports to the Vice President, Marketing.

 

-  Is responsible for managing all online programs worldwide in their entirety from strategy to content development to execution and evaluation (including corporate public and private web sites, direct email campaigns, webinars, e-advertising, search engine optimization and web reporting).

 

-  Is an individual contributor who also manages the company’s outside consultants and online program support vendors.

 

-  Has a high degree of autonomy to develop, maintain and execute online business-to-business marketing strategies that not only keep pace with changing business and marketing objectives, but also with the latest technologies / web-applications.

 

-  Contributes as writer, editor and strategist to maintain editorial tone and standards throughout the company’s web sites so that they adhere to brand, design and site architecture standards.

 

-  Collects and reports accurate web statistics and tracks the effectiveness of offline marketing campaigns at driving traffic to online content.

 

REQUIRED BACKGROUND AND ABILITIES:

 

-  Will currently live in the Dallas, Texas area and have at least a bachelor’s degree, preferably with a major in public relations, marketing or a related field.

 

-  Will have at a minimum four years agency and/or corporate web marketing and communications experience, preferably in a business-to-business environment.

 

-  Must be a detail-oriented tactician with exceptional writing, copy-editing and proofreading skills who can also be a web marketing strategist.

 

-  Have an ability to prioritize, organize and manage to timely completion a large volume of assignments and to work with a range of international personalities.

 

-  Will have in-depth knowledge of web-based marketing applications and trends, preferably with knowledge of Dot Net Nuke, Flash, Shockwave, HTML, MS Office, but other site management software background will be considered.

 

-  Should be a creative, self-starter, team-player with a “roll-up sleevesâ€� attitude who is a good collaborator on creative projects, yet has the ability to primarily work independently with a minimum of supervision.

 

-  Have an obvious enthusiasm for being the key contributor and leadership for dynamic online global marketing programs in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment.

 

COMPENSATION

 

The compensation package includes a base salary in the mid to upper five figures, plus bonus and an exceptional benefit package.
