Niche Marketing Specialist

BKD, LLP, one of the top 10 CPA firms in the country, has an opening for a Niche Marketing Specialist in our administrative office in Springfield, MO.  This position reports to the firm Marketing Manager and is responsible for firmwide marketing support of specified industry and functional service niches. 

 

The Niche Marketing Specialist has planning, marketing, writing, creative, sales support, research and analysis, reporting and administrative responsibilities.  Development, maintenance and communication of firmwide niche statistics and marketing materials will be a function of this position.  The Niche Marketing Specialist will serve a key role in shaping and communicating firmwide marketing messages, niche content management, programs and tools.  A key responsibility for this position will be to serve as final quality control and risk review for marketing documents.  This will require strong writing and editing skills coupled with keen business judgment.  It is important to know that this role will provide firmwide support for key strategic proposals, often on tight timetables, which will lead to occasional longer work days. 

 

This position offers an excellent opportunity for candidates who are motivated, self-starting and possess excellent time management and communication skills.  Dedication to client service is essential to manage and coordinate our sales and marketing efforts.  Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation are essential requirements for both short-term and long-term success.  A college degree, preferably in business, marketing, communications or journalism is required.  At least 3 years of relevant work experience or experience with professional services firms is beneficial.  Marketing experience in the financial services, health care, manufacturing & distribution, construction & real estate or not-for-profit/government industries is desirable.
