Microsoft Product Champion(Software Licensing Division)

The primary role of the Product Champ (PC) is to drive marketing programs execution and raise awareness of Microsoft products, services, and promotions among the salespeople, marketing and merchandising managers. This focus of this Champ position is to drive sales of Microsoft enabled solutions to small business customers by working across the Tiger sales and marketing organization to maximize revenue and leverage Microsoft resources in support of this objective.

Duties:

Direct Revenue Related Activities:

The key responsibility of this position is to increase sales of Microsoft’s Small Business Stack at Tiger Direct.

Support Tiger Direct sales management in achievement of Microsoft revenue goals
Function as a liaison to Tiger Direct marketing in promoting Microsoft Licensing and driving small business customer demand through all TigerDirect sales channels
Ensure that Microsoft is included in all strategic marketing plans
Develop and deploy training vehicles and materials to be used by the Tiger Direct Software licensing team to use with the sales organization
Drive Small Business Server related products and opportunities through multi-channel marketing campaigns

Indirect Revenue Related Activities:

Sales can also be influenced by indirect sales activities.  These activities are considered part of the standard requirements for this position.

Monitor all communications from Microsoft and ensure pricing is accurate and reflected on TigerDirect sales communications
Provide communications and reporting on Microsoft sales and marketing programs, activity, and metrics on results
Know key contacts within each of Microsoft product and segment marketing groups
Establish relationships with all Tiger marketing directors, merchandising managers and product managers
Serve as main point of contact for B2B and retail marketing on a daily basis
Assist with coordinating all aspects of Microsoft licensing campaigns and promotional events

Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
•Good written and verbal communications skills
•Familiarity with MS Office applications (including PowerPoint)
•Technical aptitude
•Reseller, Mail Order, or Distribution Channel experience
Sales or marketing experience specifically with Microsoft solutions
