Job Title:Merchandiser

Reports to: Chief Merchant

Job Description:

Candidate will be required to be the subject matter expert as it relates to merchandising multiple online and offline sales channels. As such, you will be responsible for communicating merchandising strategies, enhancing brand vision, increasing margins, and managing inventory planning, forecasting, goals and performance of our product mix.

Primary Responsibilities:Develop, test, and optimize product merchandising strategies across multiple sales channels including catalog, email, e-commerce, and other customer engagement mediums Write engaging copy that promotes products to customers Responsible for merchandising the web site to drive sales results Compile and analyze product sales reports among sales channels Coordinate product lifecycle management with product development team Review stock to sales ratios to ensure proper balance and content of merchandise Develop sales, pricing and inventory strategies and plans including heavy involvement with daily inventory decisions. Understand the cross channel sales strategy ensuring revenue and gross profit budgets are met. Ultimately you must be a key player in providing the ultimate shopping experience. Requirements: Must be able to self-manage in a very fast-paced work environment, have excellent attention to detail, be a creative, strategic thinker who can effectively communicate in all ways and must be able to adapt to rapidly and ever-changing business needs and priorities. You must have high energy, be a great relationship builder, have a high level of creativity and know-how to grow business.  Good skills in MS Office suite, particularly Excel Career minded:  possessing all the attributes to develop and grow within our organization. Ability to build and maintain excellent and productive relationships with the various functional departments within our organization. 2+ years of merchandising planning experience, particularly in a direct marketing multi-channel sales environment (such as mail-order and e-commerce). Bachelor’s degree in a related field
