Media Support Specialist I
MEDIA SUPPORT SPECIALIST I
Rider University’s Office of Information Technology seeks a Media Support Specialist I for our Westminster Choir College campus in Princeton, NJ. Individual will schedule and supervise student workers, distribute and maintain instructional technology equipment; facilitate audio recording and editing; video production and computer support in academic spaces; coordinate entries on the Rider TV Electronic Bulletin Board as well as handle and respond to Rider Cable TV user trouble calls.
Successful candidate must have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technology field or comparable experience and coursework along with at least three years of active experience in audio/video/broadcast production and instruction technology presentation. Knowledge of AV and media presentation equipment, basic set-up and operation of computers as standard tools, and aptitude for operating and troubleshooting a wide range of technology-based systems and equipment is required. Candidate must possess a valid driver’s license and vehicle. Some evening and weekend work required.
