McDonald’s Account Executive, Richmond

One of the most amazing opportunities a marketing and advertising professional could have may very well come from a firm you’ve never heard of. Moroch is a well-kept secret, and over the years we’ve quietly grown from handling U.S. regional retail clients to national brands.

If you have a good amount of presence, the ability to handle multiple priorities at the same time, you’re great at building relationships, have good presentation skills…and understand that the changing consumer and digital environment creates more needle moving opportunities than ever before…we need to talk.

Let’s start the conversation if…

· You get a rush when you’ve solved a client’s problem(s) and provided solution(s).

· You’re an entrepreneurial leader who’s not above taking direction. You are independent but you love and contribute to a team atmosphere.

· You’re gutsy, willing to take calculated risks for the overall performance of the business goals that will help drive sales and customers into the restaurants.

· You’re still a level headed business professional; good with marketing strategy, the numbers and analysis that lead you to your solutions.

· You’re tenacious, yet personable; able to deal with many different types of client personalities, varying in all experience levels.

· You’re resourceful with solutions: Sometimes the dots have to be connected by thinking outside the box and putting a little elbow grease into turning problems into solutions.

· You’re comfortable presenting in front of 2 or 200 people.

· You’re a true team player who’s flexible and responsible, self motivated, can manage your time efficiently and show enthusiasm for Moroch, your clients, your client’s business, your community and your profession.

· You’re energetic; you’ve got staying power, amazing follow-through, and a drive to do what’s right and to do it well.

Let’s continue the conversation if you….

· Have 3-5 years agency experience, be it in marketing, media, advertising or public relations and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent. (preferred)

· Have a balance between the ability to think strategically/see the big picture and implement details on a granular level (meaning, you’re not above doing the day-to-day administrative tasks that are required).

The stuff you want to know if you work for us…

Your working environment: Fun, casual, yet stylish. Take a tour of our Dallas office at www.moroch.com to get a little of the design style in our field offices, as well as to check out our other clients, work, and executive personnel. The Richmond office is located near the Stony Point Fashion Park – convenient to some of the best shopping and dining the city has to offer. Your team is hard working and focused upon doing great work for the client – but we never forget to have fun in the process. Our mantra: Nothing Gets in the Way of Great Work.

Your Team: A lively group of advertising, creative, research and promotions folks who are vitally important partners with you because a cross-function team approach is the best approach to moving the needle for our clients. In the Richmond office specifically, you’ll work with and directly report to an Account Supervisor. In addition, you’ll work with an Account Coordinator, Sr. AE, Account Director, Media Planning Director and others. You’ll be working closely with a group of business savvy marketing professionals whose main priority is meeting the client’s needs...and having fun while doing it.

Your Supervisor: You report to the Account Supervisor who is 100% supportive. If you get results, have great follow-through and prove yourself to be capable, you will earn their total confidence. They will proudly back up your decisions. They will look for opportunities for you to excel and grow in your career at Moroch.

Cultural Immersion: You have a support team solely dedicated to McDonald’s and a dedicated thought-partner and network of talented ad/marketing professionals across the Moroch system. There’s an infrastructure in place so you don’t have to recreate the wheel and can service the client in a more time and cost-effective manner. You’re working with integrated advertising & promotions counterparts and it’s a full team approach: developing the client’s the plan/strategy and executing it at the local market level. Our mantra: Nothing Gets in the Way of Great Work.

Travel: 10-15% Mostly day trips to the Tidewater and Charlottesville area; occasional overnight travel is required for training purposes. Travel is required for Co-op meetings as well as other in-market promotions/events, and some travel throughout the state may be required from time to time.

Education/Training & Professional Development: You give some, you get some. We’ll give you the tools, best practices, industry resources and a model to help you effectively service the McDonald’s clients. You’ll also learn from some of the best and brightest folks in the restaurant business. In turn, you have opportunities to share your knowledge with others, exert your entrepreneurial spirit and be a part of Moroch. You’ll also gain some 360 marketing experience eventually, integrating all media types including digital.

Life/Work Balance: No two days are ever the same working with one of the most recognizable brands in the world. Ever. Because advertising and clients’ needs do not run on a 9 to 5 schedule, you won’t always, either. The Planning Season is busier times. Still, you’ll share a cool, fun working environment in a great centralized neighborhood location with co-workers who work to live, not live to work.

Internal Networking: McDonald’s field support system and structure allows daily interaction with your fellow Moroch professionals serving on the McDonald’s account in our offices across the U.S. There are also a yearly planning meeting in Dallas, monthly calls with the Moroch Team, where those in the Moroch network talk about best practices and recommendations on how to execute national, regional and local plans. There’s an agenda but best practices sharing and feedback is encouraged throughout.

Our Values: Moroch is like a 300+ family who calls themselves "Morochians." In fact, the man with his name on the door gets a rush out of seeing our employees blossom and grow. We do pro-bono work for non-profit organizations in our communities and we have other clients who are socially responsible with a great story to tell. We’ve not quite “gone green” yet, but give us time.

Benefits: Employees enjoy complimentary snacks and Coke products. As if that’s not enough, we provide a full range of benefits including health insurance options - offering medical, RX, vision and dental coverage as well as a 401k Retirement Savings Plan with an employer match. We offer a Flexible Spending Plan with Healthcare and Dependent Care options; Employee Assistance Program; Wellness Web site; and other added benefits, including employee recognition, our fun work environment, plus the office is located near the Stony Point Fashion Park – convenient to some of the best shopping and dining the city has to offer.
