MARKETING AND PR DIRECTORTHE OPPORTUNITY: Manage and direct a small team of graphic designers, marketing and PR personnel Manage all PR events and celebrity applications at The Oscars, Emmy’s, Golden Globes and Cannes film festival Create a clear and consistent message across all media that defines the benefits of our products to the customer ALWAYS maintain the position as the leader in the industry Utilize technology to its fullest to create efficient and creative marketing initiatives Create new marketing and PR strategies and systems Create ROI reports for upper management for all marketing programs Create surveys and mine industry and company data to identify trends and opportunities for growth Create and manage all advertising and PR initiatives across all forms of media especially the website. Create internal marketing and PR programs to keep employee moral high at all times Edit and write copy for various marketing, packaging and advertising projects Maintain and update the Website and internet marketing programs that drive traffic to it Create marketing pieces including videos, blogs, catalogues, mailers, postcards, brochures, displays, banners and posters Manage all tradeshows and PR events Direct regular photo shoots

 

PREREQUISITES: Bachelors degree in business, marketing, advertising, graphic design or related field required 5+ years management experience 8+ years in the Marketing and advertising field Creative and positive attitude Very detail oriented Extremely responsible – you never let projects fall through the cracks A thorough understanding of CRM systems A thorough understanding and proven implementation of web design and internet marketing Experience with PR events A portfolio of previous marketing campaigns that include print, web and video pieces A disciplined and very effective project manager Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging entrepreneurial environment Very Organized – Excellent time management skills and your desk and department are always neat and organized. MUST be technology Savvy – ability to merge technology with human resources to create very efficient and profitable marketing systems Excellent verbal and written communication skills Very proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel
