Marketing Associate/Lead Client Marketer

Marketing Associate/Lead Client Marketer Deloitte Services LP is currently searching for a Marketing Associate who will work with other marketing professionals in support of the organization's business objectives and marketing initiatives.  The main role of the Marketing Associate/LCM is to work in partnership with regional marketing, national marketing, and account teams to provide strategic marketing and business development collaboration to priority accounts. This position will be located in the Midwest region, in the Chicago office.   Responsibilities include the following: - Serve as the Lead Client Marketer (LCM)/marketing point of contact for a number of strategic account teams by performing various marketing activities, providing strategic marketing counsel and also by collaborating with the firm's extended marketing and business development resources - Support the creation of client communications and relationship development plans for account teams, including distribution of thought leadership to key stakeholders and development of client-facing deliverables (e.g., relationship matrix, meeting documents, newsletters) - Support process to improve client contact data in the firm's contact management system - Within assigned account portfolio, gain and maintain deep knowledge of client and their industry/sector - Participation with Senior Marketing Managers/Marketing Managers in strategy discussions as appropriate in planning, developing and executing various aspects of marketing programs - Support Midwest Sales Marketing & Business Development (SM&BD) leadership with the development and maintenance of various projects and initiatives, as needed - Collaborate with local and offshore teams on both account marketing and program marketing - 5 years of experience in marketing, communications or related field - Experience working with teams in a professional services or large matrixed organization preferred - Excellent written and oral communications skills and professional client service manner - Demonstrated ability to multi-task, take initiative and interact with all levels of management - Solid knowledge base of marketing fundamentals - Must possess attention for details, project management skills, dedication to quality, and ability to meet deadlines - Ability to analyze data and make sound observations and recommendations - Knowledge of Internet navigation and research - Superior Microsoft Office skills - Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field - Database management and event planning experience a plus About DeloitteDeloitte refers to one or more of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, a Swiss Verein, and its network of member firms, each of which is a legally separate and independent entity.
