Managing Supervisor, Technology

Overview: The San Francisco office of Fleishman-Hillard has an immediate opening for a Managing Supervisor to join the technology practice team. The position provides a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic, organized, and seasoned professional to grow and work closely with energetic senior management on global brands. Candidate will be responsible for managing projects, creating budgets, forecasts, managing clients, and pursuing new business across technology, consumer and corporate accounts.Responsibilities: Responsibilities include daily interactions with clients, and developing and managing strategic programs. Managing Supervisors are expected to manage projects, balance staff workload, develop and manage budgets, have strong media skills and relationships, be involved in strategic planning and ensure profitability. They are involved in regular account planning meetings and new business presentations.Qualifications: Ideal candidate will be very organized, creative, and have a minimum of 6-8 years of large agency experience in developing and implementing public relations programs specifically related to consumer and technology products. Experience with large, nationally known brands a plus. Candidate must possess excellent relationships with major regional and national media, and have a proven track record of securing placements. This individual must also be able to: • Work flexibly across a variety of accounts and industries • Supervise the work of account team members by setting priorities, delegating responsibilities, inspiring teamwork and maintaining deadlines; • engage in program development and financial management including PeopleSoft and forecasting analysis; • demonstrate the ability to lead internal planning meetings and brainstorm sessions; possess superb organizational skills; • be proactive and relentless in seeking new ideas and continuing momentum; • exercise excellent judgment with the ability to think “out of the boxâ€�; • engage in frequent contact with clients; • maintain good client relationships and deliver outstanding results; develop and edit high quality written materials, including media correspondence, bylines, and speaking abstracts; and illustrate strong presentation skills.
