Manager, Media Outreach - Midwest
Manager, Media Outreach - Midwest
Responsible for developing and executing an aggressive strategy to sell the sport of NASCAR to sports editors and producers in the Midwest Region. Will manage overall public relations efforts in the Midwest including business, lifestyle and entertainment outreach. Key targets include Chicago, Detroit, Minneapolis, Indianapolis, Kansas City, St. Louis, Cleveland and Dallas/Fort Worth.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred; seven years of related public relations experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Must be well organized, detail oriented and have the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently; the ideal candidate is a results driven, strategic thinker with excellent written and verbal communication skills. 60% travel is required including weekends.
