This individual will be responsible for recruiting, managing and motivating a team of Account Executives, with revenue responsibility. In addition to these management responsibilities, the Sales Manager will be responsible for managing account/lead assignments and must be comfortable coaching/selling in an open, inside sales team environment. Responsibilities: Recruit, train and develop a sales team Performance evaluation, coaching, improvement plans and appraisals Consistently meet team results at 100% or greater to objective Productivity analysis and identification of action plans necessary to meet objectives Reporting of key activity metrics, including absence tracking Management of team account assignments and leads Channel conflict resolution Co-development and continuous improvement of sales policies and procedures Monitoring and enforcement of sales policies and procedures Revenue, compensation and budget management and reporting Workflow management and coordination with cross-functional support teams Customer relations and problem resolution On-going coaching of sales process, paperwork process, time management, phone activity and other behaviors that lead to positive results Requirements: 3-5 years of sales experience 2+ years of sales management experience in a dedicated advertising sales channel BA or equivalent experience Proven track record of success – performance documentation required Experience coaching and training sales employees Knowledge of TV/Radio advertising, local search and related products and services Strong knowledge of solution based selling strategies and experience applying and coaching these techniques. Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of applications, comfortable navigating through web-based applications related to the Internet advertising industry, and proficient with the SalesForce CRM application.
