Manager, Database Marketing (3023229 KROCK)
· Sales Promotion Analyses - timely response results by customer type YOY, evaluation of incremental sales/profit, strategic recommendations, seasonal/annual summary 30%
· Ad hoc strategic planning/marketing/demographic analyses - includes evaluation of one-off promotions and on-going programs (e.g. ad hoc list and data requests from stores, Finance, Legal, Regional SVPs, etc.; test promotion analysis - 40%
· Develop behavioral models to support customer targeting, segmentation and time-series analysis 10%
· Routine reporting responsibilities 5%
Performance Measures/Outcomes (example: key metrics, turnover, retentions stats, etc.)
· Projects completed. Improvements in methodology, accuracy.
· Deadlines met, timeliness, efficiency.
· Recommendations presented (written, oral) and implemented, client/colleague feedback.

Competencies - technical or other skills such as position specific software, financial skills, leadership, team building, training Use of statistical software and model building in an applied, business environment: Expert skills in SAS (Base, Stat) to manipulate data, investigate data problems, build analysis data sets, produce reports and build models. Must have experience working with large relational databases.
