MARKETING MANAGER

The American Red Cross Southern Region is currently seeking a full-time Marketing Manager (Marketing Strategy Officer) to join our team in Douglasville, Georgia.  The ideal candidate must be a self starter and have proven strategy, marketing, and interpersonal skills.

 

Summary

Develop and oversee policies, programs, and objectives for one or more product and services to achieve the overall objectives of the American Red Cross. Direct market research, product/services, planning, and advertising functions to accomplish organizations objectives.  Work with management to identity, develop, and implement effective and productive marketing strategies and plans. 

 

Responsibilities

· Assists with the development and implementation of marketing plans which support the objectives of the organization.

· May establish system for data collection and analysis, including metrics and customer satisfaction measurements. 

· Develops reports and interprets market conditions and potentials for increasing the organizations public awareness, product and service base, and/or donor base. 

· Identifies and/or supports improvements to business processes, resources, or infrastructure. 

· Unit specific duties with the scope of the job. 

 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field required. Three to five years experience, one to three years of which were in a supervisory role.  Operational flexibility is required to meet the sudden and unpredictable business needs.  Occasional business travel may be required.
