Knowledge Manager/ Database Engineer
MTCSC has several opportunities for a Knowledge Manager/Database Engineer supporting the Joint IED Defeat Office. There is 1 (one) position open in each of the following locations:

The successful candidate will be well rounded in the areas of information technology and knowledge management. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of watch floor requirements and the operation of an intelligence operations center. Specific responsibilities include:
• Serves as an liaison between the Federation Team and the supported customer sites
• Responsible for collaborating with IT Engineering SME as part of two man team providing on site support and linkage to Program Office in the National Capital Region
• Provide briefings to high level government officials
• Providing recommendations for the incorporation of new tools and techniques into customers operational construct
• Collaborate with representatives from other governmental organizations, contractors and government officials to accomplish mission
• Multi-tasks to ensure both routine and joint urgent operational needs are met in a timely and effective manner
• Remains abreast of current technology and operational situation to provide subject matter expertise to DoD customers
• Must be able to conduct formal and informal training of COIC tools and methodologies
• Active and current TS/SCI clearance with current SSBI (TS with SCI eligibility is acceptable)
• Candidate has 6-12 years experience with relevant experience in one of the current theaters of operations
• Candidate possesses a BS in Computer Science or Information Technology Management (other technical degrees with appropriate technical experience will be considered)
• Candidate must possess an understanding of large database structures to include Oracle, SQL, and others.
• This candidate will possess strong execution and problem solving skills and possess the ability to operate in an independent environment
• Candidate possesses composure to be an effective asset in a joint environment
• Candidate must understand operations and have experience working directly with a military operational command
• Candidate must possess mission-focus and passion for contributing to the global war on terrorism and the present COIN fight in OIF/OEF
