Overall Role

The position of Investor Relations Assistant Vice President at Financial Dynamics is actively involved in client service.  A successful AVP drafts documents for client use, provides perspective to clients on internal and market developments, develops and executes plans for delivering on client expectations, maintains broad contacts within the investment community to assess reactions to client initiatives, and takes responsibility for the quarterly reporting process.

 

Key Task and Responsibilities

 

Client Service

§ Develop relationships with analysts and investors in the industries you are covering

§ Participate in marketing events for clients

§ Draft releases, scripts and client memoranda

§ Develop and refine client messages and investment appeals

§ Gain analyst introductions and coverage for clients

§ Attend investor meetings with clients

§ Actively support new business development efforts

§ Manage accounts day-to-day

§ Work with junior staff as a team leader

 Client Relationships / Account Management

§ Take a proactive approach and anticipate client needs

§ Develop strong relationships with clients

§ Ability to establish and manage to client expectations

§ Effectively manage competing demands for time

Qualifications and Skills 

 

§ Minimum of two years investor relations experience

§ Possess strong writing skills

§ Time and priority management skills

§ Ability to deliver information effectively and accurately

§ Up-to-date knowledge of the financial markets, regulations, investment styles

§ Possess a high level of integrity and sensitivity to confidential information

§ Computer proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word
