Internal Product Training Specialist

General Purpose of Job:

We are currently seeking an Internal Product Training Specialist. This role is responsible for instructional design, development, and delivery of instructor-led and online internal training on DoubleClick Performics processes and products, following best practices in adult learning.  Primary emphasis is on creating training materials for various modes of delivery (instructor-led, synchronous online, and asynchronous online) and presentation of instructor-led training.  This role will require use of presentation and software authoring tools, editing and proofreading of materials created by other team members, and responsibility for course administration.  Some travel may be required (Less than 10%)

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

·         Update and publish courseware with attention to content, accuracy, clarity, graphics, and instructional design 

·         Develop process and product training, in conjunction with subject matter experts and other training teams, for classroom and online delivery

·         Deliver product, new feature, sales and technical training

·         Develop new course manuals, activities and handouts

·         Create and monitor practice environment for labs and hands-on learning

·         Work with Product Training Team to administer Learning Management System, including course and user registrations

·         Proofread and edit training materials

·         Utilize training evaluations to monitor training effectiveness

·         Ensure that attendance and reporting is accurate and timely

 

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

 

·         Manage projects from initiation to delivery

·         Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget

·         Continuously monitor employee awareness and usage of programs

·         Participate in development and execution of annual training marketing plans, with goals of increasing employee awareness and usage and educating managers and employees on program benefits and objectives

·         Participate in definition and maintenance of training plans for different organizational roles

·         Ensure stakeholders are informed about changes to programs

·         Proactively solicit input from stakeholders

·         Maintain a high level of product, market, and industry expertise

·         Encourage a high level of knowledge sharing in the organization

·         Actively share knowledge and expertise with others on the team via articles and webinars

Required Experience:

 

·         Detailed knowledge of DoubleClick Performics Search Product – OR- 2-5 years experience developing and presenting technical or process training

·         Experience presenting instructor-led training or other presentation skills

·         Ability to control pacing and tone of instructor-led training

·         BA

 

 

Required Skills:

 

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills

·         Ability to explain technical topics in clear language

·         Understanding of project management

·         Attention to detail

·         Flexibility

·         Experience in an online advertising environment a plus

·         MS Office

·         Experience with authoring tools, Captivate a plus

·         Learning Management System experience, Learn Center a plus

·         Experience with Adobe Breeze Connect or Adobe Presenter a plus

·         Basic understanding of web technology
