Interactive Marketing Specialist
Position Overview:
Established in 2001, WebVisible is a leading software and services provider to the local interactive advertising industry. Recently named "Emerging Software Company of the Year" by the Technology Council of Southern California, WebVisible is a high-growth, privately held company with funding from Redpoint Ventures. Our proprietary software, Geneva, is a scalable platform for creating and managing local interactive advertising products. We integrate with a network of over 30 top search engines and display advertising networks including Google, Yahoo!, MSN and Ask. WebVisible's service suite includes local search marketing, locally-targeted banner advertising, fixed placement ads, profile and landing page technologies, and call-related services packages. Our products are often privately branded and distributed by a growing list of top resellers in the yellow pages, newspaper and interactive marketing industries. WebVisible currently has an immediate opening for a Marketing Campaign Analyst at our headquarters located in Irvine, CA.
Summary: Do you love the Internet, advertising and EXCEL spreadsheets? If so, we are seeking a high-energy, results-focused campaign analyst to join our Media & Operations team. You will be working with a variety of teams and will use Web interfaces to create, manage, and analyze large amounts of search marketing and banner advertising data - turning that data into actionable analysis and marketable reports.
Requirements & Experience: Create search and banner campaign performance reports to watch for and act upon key trends. Loves Excel and is extremely detail oriented! Use our proprietary Geneva platform and/or Web interfaces, including paid search marketing platforms and tools, like Google AdWords, Yahoo Search Marketing and Microsoft AdCenter. Track down and resolve issues related to merchant campaigns. Perform hands-on data analysis, mining, and database configuration tasks Utilize effective strategies including media mix, bidding, keyword optimization, landing page optimization, etc. Use advanced analytical thinking and tools to guide marketing tactics. Provide summary reporting and updates to Executive Team, Campaign Manager and other internal and external customers.
Position Responsibilities: 1-2 years experience in managing Website or media analytics – working knowledge of the tools, techniques and terminology BA/BS Degree required Business or Marketing major/concentration preferred. Strong knowledge of the search engine marketing industry: media providers, tools, technologies, trends, etc. Prior experience with search engine platforms preferred: Google AdWords, Yahoo! Panama, Microsoft adCenter, etc. Working knowledge or experience with search engine automated bidding tools or API’s is also a plus. Strong analytical skills and usage of Excel and ad serving and/or analytical tools (knows Google interface for Adwords along with the other MSN, Yahoo!, ASK interfaces) Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Self-starter orientation and ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
