The Interactive designer position offers the candidate a great opportunity to work in a fast paced, highly productive yet relaxed and fun environment. Candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of clients, many of which are nationally recognized. The position offers both recurring production work as well as the chance to develop original design work from concept to final production.

Responsibilities:

• Will work closely with the Art Directors to understand company brand and marketing initiatives, then execute design projects from concept through completion.

• Finding and working out solutions of marketing objectives by translating concepts and messaging into visually compelling interactive advertising.

• Job will also involve a good amount of production-type work that will require use of html and design layout skills. Most of the strictly production projects require short turn-around times.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design or equivalent experience.

• A solid understanding of graphic design principles and a demonstrated mastery of Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Dreamweaver, and Macromedia Flash with intermediate-level understanding of Flash Action Scripting.

• Thorough experience and understanding of Web based design and HTML.

• Ability to optimize graphics and swf files for fast loading, small file size web use.

• Must be detail-orientated with the skill sets needed to develop a project from conceptualization through final production.

• A strong sense of typography, layout and design along with ability to maintain corporate design consistency standards.

• Candidate should be able to discuss strategies/ideas and communicate them effectively.

• Must be able to work efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines and adjust speed of work accordingly without compromising quality.

• Must be able to take direction and work well as part of a team, as well as independently.

• Must have an eye for detail and be responsible for proofing and representing your own work.

• Have a solid understanding of client deliverables, and the ability to take responsibility for them.

• Comfortable and competent in both PC and Mac platform environment.
