Interactive Advertising Sales Regional Director

TheStreet.com, a leading business & financial media company, is in search of an experienced online advertising sales executive.


Responsibilities:
*Assume ownership of relationships with top-tier national marketers and their agencies.

*Continuously build our business with these marketers by developing strategic, creative programs that leverage TheStreet.com’s full range of capabilities.

* Aggressively pursue new business.

* Schedule, plan and conduct effective and efficient in-person sales meetings & presentations.

* Develop strategic, creative proposals & presentations.
* Maintain regular communication with management including a constant analysis of opportunities and challenges in the territory. Deliver regular territory reporting & maintain the territory revenue pipeline.

* Work both independently and as a member of the advertising sales team to exceed all personal and team sales goals.

* Effectively and efficiently work with all internal groups (sales, operations, finance, etc).

* Travel as necessary for meetings, events and conferences.

Qualifications:
* BA/BS degree.
* 5+ years of demonstrated success in advertising sales in online media.
* Highly motivated to win new business while also growing existing territory revenue.* Strong, active relationships with Bay Area advertising agencies and marketers.
* Highly developed written and oral communication and presentation skills.
