HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT

 SUMMARY

G2 Promottional Marketing is looking for a highly professional Human Resources assistant. The ideal candidate will have experience within the HR field and be familiar with the advertising field. Specifically, the role requires someone who will be responsible for administering and coordinating Human Resources functions. Specific responsibilities include assisting with recruitment, employee development, employee relations, training, and development, monthly paperwork, new hire orientations as well as the development of special programs.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Recruits, interviews and assists in selecting employees to fill vacant positions of all levels. Administers corporate human resources policies. Assists with ongoing employee relations issues. Responds to all employee questions and concerns in a timely and thorough manner. Assists in administering the performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance and equity within the organization.  Assist in the development and implementation of training (i.e. Orientation, respect in the workplace, performance management, training and development). Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation and conducts exit interviews. Represents HR department and agency in a professional and positive manner in order to build morale.

 QUALIFICATIONS Must have a bachelor's degree. Must have at least 1-2 years of experience in the human resources field, preferably within an advertising agency.

·       Must maintain strong attention to detail and exhibit highly organized skills.

·       Must be computer proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point and able to quickly learn various software required to support HR department needs.

·       Must describe a background of managing a workload well along with the ability to prioritize effectively when faced with multiple projects.

·       Must be able to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion at all times.

·       Must exhibit strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
