HR Representative
HR Representative – West Coast Region
CMGRP, Inc. / Rogers & Cowan, Weber Shandwick and GolinHarris
Looking for a creative environment where passionate and smart people always remind you that they love what they do? Want to be challenged and rewarded for living our values of collaboration, innovation and learning, while having fun too? Then we need to talk – because that’s us!
We are a leading award winning global public relations group of companies in the entertainment, consumer, technology industries (to name a few), looking for a Human Resources Representative to join our West Coast Regional Team based in Los Angeles. We are Rogers & Cowan, Weber Shandwick and GolinHarris, with multiple offices across the region totaling over 350 people.
There’s lots of variety to this important role as you partner with our Director of HR and interact with all levels of staff on the west coast and with our HR Team in the New York Headquarters.
Your primary role is to support and coordinate daily operations of HR activities while supporting the Director of HR in overall HR programs. Your ‘get up and go’ approach (that’s the self starter in you), and ‘do 10 things at once’ mode (that’s the multi-tasking part) are a must. The management and administration of HR functions will cover areas such as benefits & payroll, performance reviews, policy administration, administrative processes, new hire on boarding, and HR projects.
2-3 years experience in a human resources department, and a strong knowledge of the basic principles and practices in HR are essential. Proficient PC skills in Microsoft Office are required with some HRIS and a familiarity with some employment law preferred. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required. Our ideal candidate is a team player with excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills. Attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency are also needed. Ability to handle confidential information is a must.
If this sounds like it’s for you, then let us know by emailing Alan Weatherbee, Director of Recruitment at aweatherbee@cmgrp.com . We can’t wait to hear from you!
