Travelzoo Inc. has an outstanding opportunity for a strategic-minded human resourceprofessional to manage Travelzoo's West Coast offices.  The HR Manager will possess a broad HR background with a strong emphasis on talent development. Full-cycle recruiting responsibilities will include various areas of the business from entry-level to senior positions with a focus in technology and sales. The manager will collaborate with the Head of HR and executive management on the company’s efforts to define and develop its culture, employee and organizational development efforts, assessing and addressing employee morale, execution of key initiatives and ad-hoc organizational tasks. The individual will be responsible for keeping senior management informed of significant organizational issues that could jeopardize the achievement of business objectives.  This individual will be independent in the Los Angeles office but communicate closely with the HR team on the East Coast to meet overall objectives. This position will require travel. Qualifications:- Minimum of 7 years combined HR generalist and recruiting experience in a fast-paced, dynamic industry, preferably with a media company.- Excellent communication and leadership skills.- A highly personable team player with integrity and confidence. - An outstanding judgeof character.- Self-motivated, personable, strong work ethic.- Ability to handle pressure and multiple projects with frequently changing priorities.- Demonstrated history of devising and executing creative approaches tostrategic staffing.- Must have a track record of creating and sustaining a high performance, results oriented environment.- High professional and ethical standards- A strong knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws.- Bachelors degree minimum
