Federal Marketing Manager, Healthcare - Washington, DC Deloitte Services LP provides a wide variety of internal support services to Deloitte & Touche USA LLP and its subsidiaries and their people. An overall understanding of quality client service, a proven track record of working in multifunctional teams and across multiple geographies, strong business acumen and the instinct to think and act globally are essential for advancement within Deloitte Services LP. Deloitte is currently searching for a Federal Marketing Manager that will work with senior marketing professionals in support of Deloitte's Federal Practice business and marketing objectives specific to Federal Healthcare Community pursuits. The main role of the Federal Marketing Manager is to work in partnership with Federal Business Development Managers to plan and execute Federal strategies to the Federal Healthcare Community. As a Marketing Manager assigned by the Federal Business Development Center, this individual will enjoy the benefits of being part of a larger marketing and businesses development organization for training and career opportunities associated with a marketing career at Deloitte. The Marketing Manager will also be an integral member of the Healthcare team and receive their day to day direction from the Lead Client Service Partners and Service Line Leaders for these clients and practices while reporting to the Leader of the Federal Marketing Business Development Group. Responsibilities include the following: - In conjunction with regional marketing leadership, business development leadership, client service professionals and marketing communications professionals, formulate and integrated Federal marketing approach in support of Federal sales and positioning efforts both pre and post RFP. - Track, monitor and evaluate Federal marketing and sales activities and accomplishments and provide recommendations to senior marketing leadership. - In accordance with the defined Federal strategic marketing goals and initiatives, contribute to the development and implementation of marketing campaigns to enhance visibility and increase both revenue and market share for the firm's industry groups and service lines. - Provide direction and coordination of marketing staff in the design and execution of events geared toward client education and prospective client acquisition including but not limited to conferences, seminars and trade shows. - Implement and maintain overall Healthcare marketing budget. Standardize marketing methods to ensure consistency and cost effectiveness. - Focus on supporting specific strategic accounts and spending significant amounts of time on supporting pursuit opportunities. - Ability to providetimely market research and analysis. - Develop and manage yearly Healthcare Marketing budgets and initiatives with the Public Sector Marketing Team. - Daily discretion in the coordination and development of marketing materials programs and plans. - Qualifications and requirements include the following: 6 - 10 years of experience in marketing, specific to Federal Marketing Strategies Experience managing teams in professional services and large matrixed organization Excellent written and oral communications skills and professional client service manner Superior Microsoft Office Skills Demonstrated ability to take initiative and interact with all levels of management Project management experience with specific ability to manage multiple high priority projects Sound knowledge of marketing fundamentals Negotiation and presentation skills required Flexibility and adaptability required Undergraduate degree in marketing, communications or related field Customer knowledge of the Healthcare Community About DeloitteDeloitte refers to one or more of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, a Swiss Verein, and its network of member firms, each of which is a legally separate and independent entity.
