EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

The candidate will assist the President in all aspects of general office administration in our Plantation, Florida office.

Successful candidates will have previous office experience and strong administrative skills, the ability to handle 5-8 phone lines, filing, and strong data entry skills, internet research skills, strong Outlook, MS Word and Excel proficiency is required. This position also requires strong written and verbal communication skills.

 

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:General administrative tasks supporting the office, CEO's Executive Assistant, and executives including word processing, faxing, copying, scanning, filing, handling incoming and outgoing mail, and editing and composing correspondence of a general natureMaintaining inventory control and needs within all areas of the office.Performing other duties as may be assigned by senior management.Other tasks as assigned

 

Qualifications include:Minimum of 4 years experience as an administrative assistant (2 years experience reporting to an executive)Excellent grammar and spelling with an eye to catch errors (strong proofreading skills)Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excellent typing skills at 40 wpmAbility to perform independently and respond to tight deadlinesAbility to work in a fast-paced, productive team-oriented environmentDemonstrate the highest ethical and professional standardsCommunicate in a direct and respectful manner with internal resourcesAbility to multi-task and adjust to changing paceBe a team player with a positive “can-doâ€� attitudeMust be dependableMust have great organizational, follow up and time management skills
