22nd Century Media, a news media company, is seeking SalesDirectors to join their growing classified sales team.  Sales Directorsare responsible for the sale of newspaper and online classified advertising to individualsand local businesses.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested inworking in an entrepreneurial, fun, and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include: proactively prospecting and qualifying potential newadvertising accounts; handling incoming leads; identifying businessopportunities and working with decision makers to obtain customer commitment;and achieving weekly revenue targets.

 

Ideal candidates will possess 1 – 3 years ofexperience in inside sales and preferably prior experience in local/retailadvertising sales and/or media environment.  Must have a strong work ethicand ability to work independently as well as with a team.  Excellentcommunication skills, time-management and interpersonal skills required.
