Dynamic Document Programmer

W. A. Wilde provides a comprehensive suite of direct marketing services, including strategic account planning, creative development, integrated media research and acquisition, turnkey direct mail production services, database management, and fulfillment services. In addition, the company holds a cutting-edge position in digital asset management and currently offers its clients a host of web-based marketing tools as well as highly customizable print-on-demand capabilities. Wilde is based in Holliston, MA. We have a current opportunity for a Dynamic Document Programmer to join our team.

The Dynamic Document Programmer will take a clients original design documents, business rules and Data elements to create one to one marketing output using Exstream Dialogue (software specifically designed for our industry).

 

Responsibilities:

1. Program, manipulate and troubleshoot client letter copy and design within Dialogue.

2. Scan artwork and signatures and program into document.

3. Operate cutsheet and OCE roll laser printers to produce white proofs and final letterhead stock proofs for client approval (both black and Color).

4. Work with Account Managers to make suggestions and improve overall appearance of client’s letter copy.

5. Create, manipulate, maintain fonts.

6. Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintaining proper priorities and sense of urgency.

7. Ensure attainment of scheduled desktop commitments in support of production programming schedules.

8. Create artwork from Native files Quark, Indesgin and other Creative Suite tools

9. Must be a proactive professional who takes initiative and ownership over their job responsibilities.Proofreads their work for accuracy and is quality focused

 



Requirements:

1. Computer Science Degree

2. Two years experience with desktop publishing & programming software, such as; Quark & Pagemaker, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, Word & MS Access.

3.Familiarity with variable programming, letter programming and print on demand.

4. Experience working in a production/manufacturing and Direct Mail environment, knowledge of strict deadlines, and a sense of urgency regarding production issues.

5. Comfortable in team environment.

 

Preferred but not essential:

1. Complex programming of Tables and Business rules

2. Digital or offset color experience

3.  SOAP/XML experience
