Director of Sales
DMX, Inc. is recognized as an international design think-tank that creates brand experiences for commercial environments using sight, sound, scent, and science as building blocks. Our company’s services include full motion video, music, messages, and environmental scents that provide brand texture for customers and create integrated, multi-sensory environments that drive repeat business.
We are seeking a dynamic Director of Sales to lead a team of Account Executives in our Central Region.
In this position you will:
· Be responsible for the management and sales performance of all account executives within the designated territory for the Central region through the performance of a variety of management, marketing, sales, and administrative responsibilities.
· As a team builder you would directly supervise all sales and sales support personnel which include recruiting, hiring, training, coaching and mentoring sales team members to ensure maximum commercial accounts, meeting headcount goals, and exceed sales quotas based on operating sales plan.
· Work in direct coordination with the DMX Management and the Central sales staff for the marketing and sales of DMX for Business Music Services, equipment and labor, and related products. Review, evaluate, and maintain strategies and programs consistent with current competitive and market conditions.
· Maintain responsibility and effective management of the designated sales expenses in accordance with approved budgets relative to Revenues.
· Develop strategic business planning in the development of the sales to support the sales force in meeting or exceeding specified sales goals and budget objectives for the assigned market.
· Develop and maintain effective professional relationships with the sales force and customers.
· Understands organizational goals, creates team goals that drive to achieve organizational excellence.
· Develop and implement cooperative marketing programs, sales promotions, incentives, and contests within assigned market to promote sales of DMX for business and related products.
· Effective financial management of marketing and sales programs to ensure budgeted objectives for associated revenue and expense are maintained within the markets sales goals.
Qualified candidates will have a strong background in B2B sales and will have demonstrated success in leading and managing a team of sales professionals. Has successful experience motivating and building a sales team, strategically developed plans for sales team success, is not satisfied with the status quo. Has a proven business acumen and applies to the management of sales team.
Ability to travel required.
Must have solid computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). Must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills and strong financial analytical abilities.
