Essential Functions and Process Responsibility

Marketing



 

a. Leads the research and understanding of customer shopping insights

b. Leads the research into lifestyle insights

c. Deep knowledge of each stores trade geographical trade area – Austin,

  San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano

· Writes strategic plans to target promotional investment by trade area

· Designs and manages all research and studies to gain customer knowledge

· Direct Marketing/Mail

· Database management/augmentation

· Budget responsibility/�Guerilla� marketing/�Viral� Marketing

· Leads the development of future loyalty programs

· Leads the understanding, measuring and acceleration of customer adoption of

  Central Market as a weekly grocery shop

 

Advertising/Brand Management

 



· With Group VP identifies and manages Central Market’s outside ad agencies

· With agency support creates and manages Central Market’s brand image

· Leads all creative messaging and writing

· Oversees the writing editing and production of all printed material including:

a. Foodie magazine

b. Cooking school schedule

c. Cook Books

d. In-store informational material

· Responsible for all in-store signage

· Oversees web page construction and maintenance for all Central Market Internet sites

 

Events and themes

 



· With the Procurement Team leads the building of an annual events calendar

· Integrates all events and themes into Central Market advertising plans

· Coordinates the use of any outside “Visual Merchandising� – consultants/support

· Clearly defines each event for Communication to in-store selling teams

· Oversees the production and design of all support material

· Leads the costing budgeting and financial performance of each event

· Creates a close working relationship between the advertising/events teams and the in-store selling managers

PR

 



· Coordinates with HEB Corporate Public Relations

· Oversees all third party public relations firms for Central Market

· Administers Central Market’s community giving in each trade area

· Coordinates all media communication across all cities
