Today Taleo leads the global Talent Management solutions market with customers ranging from 47 of the Fortune 100 to more than 2,900 small and medium businesses.  To support our continued growth and extend our company brand and value proposition, we are looking for a Director of Corporate Communications  to develop and implement strategic programs and positioning.  The scope of this position covers management of Public Relations, Industry Analyst Relations and Executive Communications.  Additional opportunities to add value to our on-going success include the following:

 Work closely with senior executives to develop compelling messages and supporting materials; provide counsel on delivery for key audiences including customers, employees and market influencers. Extend employee communications programs and channels.Ensure consistent messaging through management of all press materials, press releases, customer reference/success story programs, awards programs, and company speakers program. Oversee all public relations activities with the trade and business media and industry analysts, as well as the general public, current and potential customers, distributors and resellers, channel and technology partners, executive staff, investors, and employees. Develop and implement a thorough communications plan for all significant company and product announcements (e.g., new product launches, acquisitions, etc.).Manage customer references resulting in active customer participation in press and analyst interviews, speaking opportunities, awards submissions, success stories, byline articles, etc. Develop excellent relationships with media professionals and commentators in targeted publications, as well as key industry analysts and influencers covering the company's markets. Manage the company's external PR agencies and other outside vendors to achieve maximum success within defined budgets. Collaborate with a growing team of corporate communications professionals.

 

Qualifications:

This exciting opportunity requires strong high-tech communications and writing skills and the ability to develop and deliver  compelling messages and evocative stories through the appropriate communications vehicles.  Specific qualifications include: 7-10 years of corporate communications experience, preferably at a software company and/or agencyExcellent messaging and writing skills, with ability to understand and translate technology offerings into compelling, crisp messages Exceptional verbal communication skills and a professional presence Executive coaching on presentation development and delivery Successful track record with business and trade mediaStrong team management for on-strategy resultsAnalyst relations savvyKnowledge of human resources/recruiting software Excellent organization and time management skills High level of energy an enthusiastic team player and dedication to excellenceBA degree. MBA a plus
