SUMMARY YELLOWPAGES.COM currently has an opportunity for an experienced Director, Marketing in our Glendale, CA offices. The Director, Marketing has day-to-day management responsibility for the activities of a growing marketing department. This position reports to the Executive Director of Marketing and will be responsible for developing marketing strategies to support the growth of grow customer acquisition and revenue, and consumer usage and awareness. Key responsibilities include the execution of marketing programs, oversight, direction and performance of the Marketing team and managing marketing activities and priorities to align with corporate goals. RESPONSIBILITIES Hands on management of marketing projects. Responsible for developing and implementing marketing programs to support consumer awareness / usage and customer acquisition. Develop and maintain department budgets and resources and make adjustments to hit goals. Support product and consumer teams with creative marketing programs and development of marketing plans to support initiatives. Lead team in collaboration with business units to develop best in class marketing programs and collateral. Interact with marketing, operations, technology, sales and product groups to meet needs and grow relationships. Develop marketing messaging and ensure continuity across all areas. Continually optimize messaging, creative and content. Stay abreast of marketing trends, opportunities and best practices. Work with legal on approval of marketing programs. Strong project management skills. Performs other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field from an accredited college / university required. MBA is strongly preferred. 10 years of progressive marketing experience; with a strong track record of execution. Comprehensive knowledge of marketing programs and tactics. Specific experience in developing collateral programs, direct marketing, contests, promotions, barter and advertising. Capable of developing comprehensive marketing plans and the ability to communicate the plan with key stakeholders. Management experience is required. Experience in managing outside vendors/agency is strongly preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills with exceptional project management skills. Internet / Interactive industry experience. Ability to meet extreme deadlines under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Strong project management and presentation skills.
