Director, Financial Reporting

Ability to multi-task with an attention to detail,  initiative,  follow-through, and ability to meet deadlines, as well as being able to work effectively as part of a team.  Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills a must.  Ongoing presentations to CFO.

 

Ensure the complete and accurate preparation of external financial reporting to News Corporation including the weekly flash, monthly board book, monthly cash flow and quarterly financial reviews.

Ensure the complete and accurate consolidation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts.  Includes responsbility for the planning and administration of these processes as well as ensuring the complete and accurate preparation of required News Corporation reporting for these processes.

Managing the administration of current Essbase models as well as managing the future development of Essbase.

Managing the administration of the Oracle General Ledger System including maintenance and creation of financal reports and system upgrades and maintenance.

Assist Controller in preparation of annual budget presentation to News Corporation.

Manage a staff of one Financial Analyst and one Financial Systems Analyst.

Special projects as needed.

 

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

 

7 to 10 years experience, preferably in the Consumer Goods or In-Store Marketing industry preferably performing a financial reporting function.

 

Strong Excel skills required, Access skills a plus

Oracle General Ledger System and Essbase.
