Direct Marketing Associate - lead generation

Assist Marketing Director to help Sales achieve its revenue goals by leading the timely development and execution of all demand generation campaigns and non-campaign lead generation activities. Provide tactical support in delivering the required quantity and quality of leads with qualification and close rates higher than industry average and past efforts. Work closely with Sales to optimize lead and sales performance. Ensure optimal lead generation effectiveness and efficiency of interactive, telemarketing, direct mail and advertising. Operational Activities of this position include: Design, develop and deploy campaigns based on the strategic direction provided by his/her manager. Ensure flawless campaign execution to achieve lead and sales goals. Generate break-through ideas that improve campaign performance. Evaluate and report on campaign performance. Assess past campaign performance, establish process for knowledge capture and continuous improvement. Deliver the marketing support needed to help the direct and indirect sales channels at all stages of the sales cycle plus the recruitment of new agents and referral partners. Support manager with ad hoc requests within scope of responsibility.Qualifications 5+ years marketing and/or agency experience in the areas of lead generation and sales conversion. BA with focus on marketing or business, preferred. MBA a plus. Proven track record in using multiple facets of the marketing mix to increase lead generation, cost per lead, qualification and yield rates. Strong performance with supporting all phases of the sale cycle for direct and indirect channels. Demonstrated ability to effectively and efficiently work across multiple functional areas, especially with Sales, and with external agencies. Significant proof of taking the initiative in solving a marketing problem. Results and action - oriented. Highly assertive while diplomatic. Creative thinker; idea generator. Ability to understand and act on needs of direct and indirect sales channel.
