Copywriting Position in Canada

The job:
Like the headline says, you’ll be a full-time Copywriter, but the role is much broader than that. One day, you’re coming up with concepts, the next day you’re on a plane and meeting with a client to present your ideas. Day after that? You’re probably shooting an ad. You’ll work very closely with other members of our North American team including the Sales Team, Client Service Team and Creative Team. You’ll also work closely with team members in our offices in London, UK and Melbourne, Australia.

The right person:
• You have an academic background in advertising
• You are fluent in the English language, both oral and written
• You’re a talented, enthusiastic recent graduate or…
• …Perhaps you’ve had one or two years of agency experience – enough to work out that maybe you’re just not suited to the traditional agency structure
• You’ve got a knack for uncovering a consumer insight and using it as the basis for great copy
• You know a Copywriter is the best person to pitch an idea – that’s why you’ve learned to be a great presenter.
• You’ve done your research – you know about Buchanan Group and what we do.

The role is open to residents of the United States and Mexico. If you are chosen for the position, we will assist you in relocating to Canada.
