Videogame publisher THQ is seeking a Connected Marketing Coordinator to assist the Connected Marketing team in driving online marketing efforts across several key releases.  The Connected Marketing Coordinator will provide support in carrying out brand-specific connected marketing plans; working closely with PR, brand management, the internal web team, select studios and other internal and external groups to insure consistency across all online activities.

 

Responsibilities:

 

•Support the Connected Marketing team in the development and execution of online marketing plans

•Support and monitory THQ’s growing network of online communities, and facilitate the creation and distribution of online content and special community initiatives

•Coordinate with Community Managers at THQ studios as well as other internal stakeholders to foster vibrant online communities

•Track performance of various online initiatives and report on key performance indicators

•Maintain awareness of most current and up & coming online marketing trends, technology, and techniques

 

Requirements:

 

•1-2 years experience in web technology, web hosting in a marketing environment.

•Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, marketing, communications, or related field preferred.

•Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills

•Must have both strong analytical and creative capabilities

•Some knowledge of web applications, online community software and social networking trends preferred

•Gaming Industry knowledge and knowledge of THQ’s products and understanding of its target audiences, a plus
