Business Development Manager – Language Translation Services

 

Translation Source, a fast-growing language translation firm, currently seeks a Business Development Manager. The Business Development Manager will be in charge of executing our sales strategy with new corporate accounts. This opportunity involves developing long-term relationships with new clients and advancing relationships within targeted industries.

 

What we look for An energetic, self-motivated individual with passion for business development and sales of professional services Successful previous experience in business-to-business sales, preferably in professional services College Degree Excellent time management, interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills Ability to gather information, assess B2B opportunities, qualify leads, negotiate and execute solutions for clients Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, multi-tasking environment Living in Houston metropolitan area or willing to relocate

 

Responsibilities Meet and exceed sales targets Identify new prospects and qualify potential leads Make at least 25 quality sales calls each week Negotiate contracts with new clients Attend and participate in sales meetings, trade shows and networking events Maintain business development information on internal system Continuously learn about new language translation services
