PlattForm is a full-service integrated marketing communications agency specializing in direct-response advertising within the post-secondary education industry. PlattForm provides all aspects of advertising campaigns in-house. These services include strategic media planning and buying, creative productions, direct mail, web design and full service web marketing. PlattForm specializes in the proprietary school market, servicing over 2600 campus locations across the USA and Canada.

 

JOB SUMMARY 

This self-starter is responsible for maintaining current relationships and generating sales by offering additional services to clients.

 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1.  You are compelling and articulate speaker in a variety of settings.

2.  You are a self starter with little need or supervision.

3.  You demonstrate persistence, overcome obstacles, and strive to improve skills and achieve goals.

4.  Generate sales of PlattForm services by up-selling services to new and current clients.

5.  This individual needs to be capable and willing to talk daily with many clients and travel as needed for site visits.

6.  3+ Years experience in sales, preferably business to business.  Experience in the Education Vertical is a plus, but not a must.

 

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS

1.  Communicate with internal departments on all new accounts and service offerings

2.  Consistently demonstrate his/her ability to think outside the box to get in front of new clients

to present PlattForm service offerings

 

 

REPORTS TO

   Vice President of Sales and Marketing



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

1.  Bachelor’s Degree or a minimum of 3 years experience in sales

2.  Utilizing the telephone to generate sales or to start the sales process

3.  Strong computer skills, basic knowledge of a contact management software

 

 PHYSICAL/MENTAL QUALIFICATIONS

1.  Able to communicate tactfully and effectively

2.  Able to manage multiple tasks and multiple problems simultaneously

3.  Must have good communication and organizational skills

4.  Able to operate various pieces of office equipment as required by position

5.  Able to stand or sit at desk for extended periods of time

 

 WORKING CONDITIONS

  Working conditions are that of a typical office environment.  Extended periods of time sitting at a desk and working at a computer are a day-to-day occurrence.
