DescriptionResponsible for the daily support of SAP's SD (Sales and Distribution) Module. Support areas include the Variant Configurator (estimating system), Sales Order and Production Order creation and processing, Scheduling, Pricing, Billing, Shipping and Mailing. Design, develop and configure modifications or significant enhancements to the SAP SD module. Work with key business users to develop new system requirements. Work with internal and contract programmers to develop and implement custom SAP applications. Specific Duties/Responsibilities: Perform application system analysis and design Perform preliminary project assessments and develop project plans. Creation of technical specifications based on functional requirements. Work with key business leaders and system users in requirements gathering and detailed design. Creation and modification of SAP configurations based on design specifications, using defined development standards and procedures. Participate in projects (i.e. Global SAP roll outs, upgrades, implementation of new modules and process improvements, etc.) Perform unit testing, develop test scripts and participate in integration testing of development objects. Lead and monitor other developers; assignment of tasks, review of work, reporting team and project progress Diagnose and resolve application related issues, including evaluation of Root Causes to take preventive action. Provide technical support for SAP system users. Required Experience 5 plus years of SAP R3 Configuration, implementation and support experience with SAP's SD module. Working knowledge of SAP's PP and MM modules.
