Brand Manager - Private Brands
The Private Brands Marketing group was created to drive category profitability and provide additional required customer choice. This customer-centric role provides the leadership necessary to set overall strategy for a portfolio of private brands in multiple categories. This role will be responsible for establishing/determining the Marketing and customer priorities and plans for each brand. This role will serve as a critical strategic leader to identify and develop new business opportunities, go-to-market strategies, building synergies and leading the strategic planning process. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION (Applicants must possess all of the following to be considered.) Experience managing a consumer brand including P&L responsibility. Successfully managed and developed a team of direct reports. Successful track record of strong results in an influence driven or matrixed environment. Management of Consumer insights partners or teams. Masters degree and 2-4 years brand management experience or bachelor¿s degree and 4-6 years experience. MBA and 4-6 years experience at top tier consumer driven company preferred.ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (These requirements/qualifications are not absolutely necessary to perform job.) Management consulting experience. Financial management experience. Private label management. New product development and launch experience. Management of product quality. Management of a portfolio of brands. Managed budgets exceeding $5MM and products with revenues exceeding $5OMM.
