Bookkeeper/Admin Asst

Busy advertising agency needs an experienced bookkeeper to take charge of our accounting-related activities and light admin duties, 3 to 4 hours a day, five days a week.

 

Responsibilities:

1. Accounts Payable - entering invoices, paying invoices, printing checks, etc.

2. Accounts Receivable - preparing invoices, posting payments, making bank deposits

3. Payroll - preparing direct deposits and tax liabilities

4. Reconciling bank statements and submitting reports to company's accountant for tax filings

5. Light filing, occasional phone answering and email; communication with clients and vendors

 

Requirements:

1. Excellent computer, grammar, written, verbal and organizational skills

2. Energetic, motivated and team-oriented

3. Experienced with accounting software (Quickbooks or MYOB)

4. Able to multi-task

5. Experienced in a service business (advertising & marketing a plus)

6. Honest and integrity
