FD Ashton is currently looking to hire strategic thinkers that are dedicated to delivering exceptional client service. We are looking for candidates with 5-10 years of financial services, portfolio management, or corporate finance experience. An advanced degree, preferably an MBA is favored, as well as CFA holders.

As an Associate in our Boston practice you will:

• Work with senior staff members in the positioning of companies for strategic change using both quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Analyze the risk/reward profile of these companies and identify the appeals or obstacles to owning the stock versus industry and investment peers.
• Interact with buy-side and sell-side following of your client group.
• Coordinate the development of the strategic plan for clients' overall investor relations programs.
• Create core investment thesis for our clients and consult clients on a daily basis.
• Take on responsibility for all client deliverables.
• Manage a dedicated analyst in the fulfillment of those deliverables for a client group of 6-8 clients.
• Collaborate with our research group to deliver high level financial projects.

Candidates must be interested and knowledgeable in capital markets, quantitative methods and financial analysis with excellent critical thinking, writing, speaking, and computer skills. Solid writing skills are an absolute must for this position and will be tested prior to hire. Candidates should be entrepreneurial, aggressive, and looking for challenging, hands-on experience.
