Assistant - Public Relations

The Assistant will be the right-hand person to an Executive Level Personal Publicist, and will be responsible for the following:Maintaining and coordinating busy schedules for Publicist  Answering Publicist's phones, screening calls, taking messages Creating daily call sheets Responsive and informative client/industry interaction via phone and e-mail Ongoing maintenance and updating of industry contacts in Microsoft Outlook Booking complex travel arrangements and creating detailed travel itineraries (air, hotel & ground transpo) Ensure press kits are current and adequately stocked Covering client events and photo shoots Coordinating wardrobe, hair and make-up for client events and appearances

 Job Requirements:Absolute desire to start a career focusing on  Personal PR  Bachelors Degree in Communication, Public Relation or related field Prior entertainment PR internship is a must Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, and working knowledge of other Microsoft Office software Professional, yet friendly people skills Outstanding organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Punctuality and reliability
